You know one thing my brother is good at? Shredding Plantera (and Skeletron Prime and Fishron) with the Megashark shooting Crystal Bullets (although they’ve probably released better gear by now) while wearing the Princess Dress dyed with Flame Dye and the stylish Regal Cloak.
Yes, I know Plantera shows up in jungle, not regular caves, and gets mad if you try to take him outside. Yes, I know it’s highly unlikely that these particular three bosses would show up at the same time (for one thing Skeletron Prime only shows up at night). …But it made for a cool picture.

So painting directly from a photo isn’t a terrible experience, although it is time-consuming. I managed to speed up considerably once I discovered that ALT turns the brush into the eyedropper tool… yeah, I know, the most basic of shortcuts. : P And in the end it just looks kind of like I put a filter on a photo. Which my dad took of a bee on the apple tree a couple weeks ago, that this is. Anyhow, thank goodness for the blend tool, it is my favourite. Now if only it worked across layers like the Photoshop smudge tool…

My first paid commissions! : O I work as a music teacher at a Yamaha school, and one day before Christmas I mentioned to my boss that I did visual art as well, and he asked if I had a rate, and long story short, I did some art of real people! Plaid is hard, but you know what, I’d rather do plaid than bike helmets now…
