Waltzing through the air
Today’s picture is of Howl and Sophie from Howl’s Moving Castle. I think this picture came out well; it feels more than two-dimensional. Of course, his face is completely off.

The grumpy elf
This is Audriel Sillendrey, from the webcomic The Prime of Ambition
. I sent it in for the birthday contest last year! It didn’t win – the winning entry was just too amazing ^_^ – but I’m happy with the way this turned out. Very happy. My noses still need work, but it’s fairly shiny for my artwork.

Bishounen – now with extra angst!
Um, this is the angsty bishounen hero of Last Exile, the anime series that my friend Lesley showed me (Lesley, not Leslie).
The picture is not great, but it’s a sketch.

Orange and black and white = PL1 = pilot
I adore X-wings, as has been said, so I tried to draw the best pilot of them all: Wedge Antilles… but it didn’t come out because I didn’t use a reference.
Whatever. It’s generic X-wing pilot #1. ^_^;

Duuuuuude!
I’m not sure how this character came to be, but one day my brother started chanting “mystic snowboarder! Mystic snowboarder!” and it piqued my interest enough to draw it. So, yeah, a Dungeons and Dragons snowboarder wizard with a magic ski-pole staff.
I have never skiied or snowboarded.
The thing around his neck is an Egyptian ankh.

Come to think of it, that boot might actually belong to an actual body… which is bigger than I thought…!!?!
I love this picture! Oh, wow, a Middle Earth picture! It’s of Fingolfin (again) and he is fighting Morgoth, and this is the best picture of Morgoth I’ve ever done, either. But Fingolfin! The tragic eyes, the flowing shiny hair… The angle of the sword and shield, the strange ripples of the cloak (?)… His arm’s a bit skinny… But otherwise he looks pretty realistic!
Why, yes, this is the King of the Noldor take 3! And, yes, he is an angsty heroic idiot, and thus we all love him.

(staaaaare) Rahr?
Hum, the eyes are nice, but the chins are too angular. Even for me. I guess these pictures are improving, but TP Link is not good enough here yet… I have done better pictures, I guess I’m saying. However, I’m rather happier with the way Demon (a.k.a. OniLink) came out. Yes, I am. Except that noses done by me are at the wrong angle or something.

More marker! Flairé finds this a typical position, I think. That’s actually a pretty small drum, really… Ooh, and he has his whistle-flute!

Rrrrrgh, I’m mad about something or another…
Um, this is me, with a nice haircut, very upset. And I forgot my glasses. I only just realized that, after more than a year. O_O7 Odd. This is one of my mom’s favourite pictures, because of the shading. This is the work of my then-new super art markers! I used every single one in shading my irises.

Yaaaah!
Mwahahaha, this is the next result of my ‘how to draw manga’ book. See how Link’s body looks slightly more realistic than usual? The King of Ikana – the bone guy dude – is also more detailed than a bunch of my villains… though I redesigned him because I couldn’t remember what he looks like. I started adding the wall, but it rather ruined the rest of the picture so I stopped.
