Aaaah! I’m missing my hind legs! Midna, what did you do to me this time?
Another terrible picture, from In the Shadows Beyond This World. Phooey!
I can’t draw animals at all. Can you tell?
I also forgot Wolf Link’s earrings.

Bats? What bats? And why is my sword so huge?
This is… a picture with a background! It comes from when Link and Rana go into the New Forest Temple as detailed in my silly “In the Shadows Beyond This World” which can be found in the Writing section if you think this is a brilliant picture and you absolutely must see the text that goes with it XP
I suppose the figures are not that bad, and the details are okay, but Link’s arm is too long, Rana’s sword is too big, and the background is THERE, but not ver ver sketchy. And Link’s feet look funny.

Something is rotten in the State of Hyrule…
I’m not quite sure why I drew this… I think I was trying to do another ‘Link without hat’ sketch, but it didn’t come out. Anyway, I think the face is pretty good in this one. Slightly more realistic than usual.

Raaaah! Run, Daryl, run! Mwahaha!
Hahaha! This is based on a Harvest Moon/Zelda crossover thing-y. See, in Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life, there is a ‘mad scientist’ called Daryl. And if you talk to him while he’s looking into your field, he will mutter something about experiments and cows. Sooo…. if your farmer happens to be named Link, he’s not going to be too happy about that! My brother repeatedly tried to attack Daryl with a scythe, but all Daryl said was “I told you, I don’t want that!!” He ain’t tryin’ to give it to ya, buddy! …So Link is somewhat more effective. And chibi. ^_^
I also greatly enjoy this fictional sequence…
Tim (the son): Daddy! Diaper! Pee!
Roy: AAAAAAAAH!! (runs away)
Daryl, spying from some distance away: So that’s how a new father would react…

FOR THE COWS!!!!

The worried one is the best. Are you looking at me?
The top picture was the first, of course… ‘Link’ with some pretty out-of-control Ocarina style hair. The second, middle one, was better, though I still don’t know how to fix it so it will look right. But the hair is much much better. Then the bottom one is with Twilight Princess style hair, and it’s the best one. Eyes are kind of shiny here, aren’t they?

Golly gee, don’t you just hate ambushes where the ambushee is too fast for the ambusher?
Now, I’m sure you’re all wondering what on earth is happening in the picture above, if you’ve noticed anything besides pretty hair

SHINY HAIR
yet… I know I haven’t… Anyway, Flairé and I have conferred on this, and we agree it’s probably for the best that you draw your own conclusions. The elements we shall give you are thusly: Flairé is the one with the SUPER-SHINY HAIR. But you guessed that, at least, already. The fellow on the right is a kalma of the Dragon kingdom. I think they use jagging, though I’m not 100% on that. He keeps stuff in his pockets, hee. He wields – er, wielded a wooden club and attempted to take Flairé by surprise. Flairé has no scabbard for some reason, which really is an error on my part, and this position, while probably physically impossible, is indeed what it is meant to be.

CUTE!
M’kay, now I tried drawing Will Stutely of Robin Hood fame in a style more familiar to me because I was frustrated with the first one.
This one is waaaay better looking. In fact, he’s quite adorable.

Master? I be-eth a very little boy who likes to wrestle…
I read Robin Hood, by Paul Creswick, illustrated by N.G. Wyeth, again. I think it’s a very good novelization/adaptation/whatever you want to call it. There are several people whose first name is William, though, and Will Stutely Robin’s right hand is chief among them in this book. I imagine he’s quite the cutie, but unfortunately this attempt at un-referenced realism, especially with the mussed black hair, failed.

I tried to get Flairé to comfort me for the last picture, but he was out.
I was going to draw Flairé, but she came out too girly.
Er, by ‘she’ I mean he ended up as Flaria his sister. And I’m aware that androgynity… androgynousness… androgyny… (okay, I used a spellcheck) means he looks like a girl a lot anyway. But there is a limit he won’t go beyond.
