Thirsty Sword Lesbians

Tharash: who wants to play Thirsty Sword Lesbians?
me: ME APPARENTLY

So I drew some characters! Very sloppy and quick (don’t talk to me about the fencer’s arms >.>) On the left is the design for Lady Erzabet Penelope Flora van Dietrich y Vasquez du Lac (she/her, lesbian), who is named in the vein of Percival de Rolo from Vox Machina. I intend her to be a Devoted class (we don’t even have the rulebook yet, I was just looking at the free class pdfs), as the class flavour text really appealed to me. Her personality is inspired by Kashima from Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun – the prince-type with a million fangirls, who flirts outrageously with said fangirls, and yet only has eyes for one special person. Erzabet loves lilies and always makes sure to have several on hand to throw dramatically.

Then Tharash pointed out that Reid would make a good Trickster, so then of course I had to draw a genderswapped Reid. So there on the right side is Rhiannon MacDiarmid (she/they, trans-femme bi), who has apparently gone full goth but I’m not going to complain about the eyeliner. Caoilfhionn also wanted to play (wouldn’t have to change his name since it’s already feminine!), but his design wouldn’t change much, he’s in a committed relationship that I don’t want to change, and I wanted to make an original character. : P

Bonus chibi: Nicole Coenen, (she/her lesbian), lesbian Canadian lumberjack on Youtube, who would be perfect for this sort of thing, with her wood-splitting sword.

I tried using references for all these pictures but I altered all of them in some way or another and I’m feeling lazy and don’t want to look up where I got them from (image searches, mostly).

Tharash actually was originally thinking about running some games based on “if Arthurian knights covered the spectrum of gender and sexuality”, so not just lesbians but NB and trans folx too, lesbian, bi, ace, pan, etc. Hopefully Lady Erza will fit in, or I’ll just retcon her into being Lancelot lol.

All this enthusiasm has me wondering if I’m as completely cis-het as I thought I was, but if I’m not it’s not enough to matter.
