Expression does not match dress sense

Hey, hey, this is a guy I made up this summer. Like around the time that I went to Ontario to hang out with the grandparents etc. Anyway, his name means “darkgreenleaf” and he has been on the Characters page for a bit, unobtrusively sneaking in at the bottom. He’s from the Nunathoemlen, the unicorn land of the north, and he is married to a nice lady and is friends with a unicorn. He probably has a few kids too, but he hasn’t told me about them. He’s Flairé’s second in command after the war gets going, because Flairé is kind of loopy and needs someone to ground him. Even when Flairé matures or is being super serious, Lam’ro won’t be wasted because it’s good to have a few more quiet, level-headed characters around, and it’s nice to know yet another guy from the unicornland, especially a ‘normal’ one, because Tam is definitely not normal, and Marotheth is a jerk. Yeah?

…I can feel my characters getting out of control. No one except me is going to be able to keep track of them all! : P

Anyway, Lam’ro, despite his young looks, is definitely a ‘father/councillor’ figure. He’s not bad with a bow, hence the fact that he has one, and he’s always thinking ahead. You might think Tam, with his clever mind, is good at thinking ahead, but the fact is that he’s not. He can foresee consequences and social reverberations, but Lam’ro actually thinks through everything; he can see the big picture in all ways. At first he’s somewhat taken aback by Flairé’s spontonaeity, and is practically terrified of Gullac, who as we all know is completely random. He’s also a ‘nice’ person, so he can only really give orders if there’s someone around with authority to back him up. Like Flairé. They make a good team – Lam’ro tells Flairé what would be best to do, and then Flairé divides the tasks based on that input between them, and Lam’ro obeys because Flairé is a ‘leader-type’ sekritly. Sometimes Flairé, though he respects Lam’ro’s mind, objects to his advice because Lam’ro, while he’s nice and polite and tries to get along with everyone, doesn’t always have as much compassion as Flairé (as the, shall we say ‘shepherd’ of his regiment) does. Flairé is determined to take as few losses as possible, and Lam’ro is okay with a few deaths, even among his friends, as long as they accomplish their goal. They don’t name-call each other often, but when they do, Lam’ro calls Flairé a naive softy, and Flairé calls Lam’ro a rock-headed objectivist. Because it’s not his heart that’s hard, but his mind taking control over it. But they’re rather fond of each other and don’t argue too much, and Lam’ro respects Flairé as a good leader and Flairé respects Lam’ro as a good second. Lam’ro also helps take care of Jalril when necessary, though he’s a little awkward around the kid because the kid is awkward around him. (Lam’ro’s own kids, if they exist, are not yet Jalril’s age, and are not nearly as formal in addressing him. : P )

He dresses kind of funny, though. He has SHORT black hair, and earrings, and… yeah, he’s kind of a ‘punk elf’ in dress style. It’s probably not very ‘punk’ like in general, but it certainly is for my elves. I think part of his design was inspired by flipping through a book by NeonDragon, because she’s like “PUT LITTLE DETAILS EVERYWHERE – IT’S COOL” and it works! He has actually more detail than the original characters. You’ll see a little more on Thursday.

I haven’t seen Kevbot in like two weeks! What is this! …I’m getting social withdrawal, and school is in so I get to SEE people, unlike summer. I think there must be something wrong with me. Also it’s either too warm out, but more often it’s too cold. Oh well, the weather is beautiful! There are crunchy leaves EVERYWHERE!! I love crunchy leaves. They remind me the world is fun sometimes. : D

Anyway, time for lunch.
