One of those sketch commissions, this is for imahappi, of Storme. Apparently he’s an assassin, and partly a mage? But the pin-stripes suggested a city-background to me, so: blobs. Hope it’s not too terrible, imahappi!
Feelin’ like a responsible adult. Let’s see – I got to everything early (except for getting a bus pass, but now I know where to go for tomorrow. Made a supper that used the stove (grilled cheese sandwich : P ). Cleaned all the dishes. Mailed a letter. Signed up for all my courses. Also, more frivolously, I drew this in about an hour, and in a different hour, almost very nearly nabbed the Tyrian Explorer title. …I think I’ll go finish that off, actually.
Tomorrow, I sit in on my first class (as a pianist, not as a student, whatever) and get a bus pass and keep eating and cleaning dishes and practice all kinds of piano and stuff! I still don’t have any kitchen cupboard space, though, which is somewhat annoying. I could take, y’know, the top shelves, but then I can’t reach! I’m not the shortest person in this house! Actually, there are two people shorter than me, so it would be better if I took higher shelves, but still – can’t reach the top shelves easily. I am thinking there could be some easy reorganizing in the kitchen that would give us all more counter space, too.
Then it’s on to Saturday, where in the words of the writer of Hyperbole and a Half, I “CLEAN ALL THE THINGS”. Should be good.
