zelaavatarsm2 This is my 2008 entry for the Prime of Ambition fanart contest. It’s of Jerome! I like Jerome. The guys in the back are all chibi versions of the other four characters. Than is greeting his hawk, Audriel is yelling at a stoic Eloise, and Kevin is looking at a butterfly. Not because I think he’s flighty; just because I couldn’t think of anything else for him to do.

By the time you see this picture, I will be at work. I did this last night to save time. Huzzah for auto-update thingies! Also will have updated with a new Rekka no Ken: Vol. 1: The Tactician and the Heiress by then too. (yeah, changed the title again)

zelabodyicon Top left of this picture, is, obviously, Marteth. I was experimenting with his hair; wondering if I could make it less weird while still letting Marteth be as much of an SoB as a Prince-Commander in Exile can be. Then there was a practice sketch of a friend because he had a birthday the next day and I wanted to draw him a card, as I do for friends with birthdays… As you can see I was not impressed with my efforts. I wasn’t too impressed with the card either, but apparently he liked it. That’s a good thing because I lost my scan of it. Then I drew Jerome Bettequer from The Prime of Ambition for some reason. I think because he became my new favourite character because he wasn’t snarky like Audj.

There’s no one in the house except me pretty much so I can go practice piano YAAAAAAAAAAAY.

I can play Happy Birthday classical style.

Today’s post is going to be a bit different. It is vastly long, and covers a whole year of doodles. Actual artwork will be presented in its regular order afterwards, but as I didn’t do too much during the 2007-2008 school year we should be finished with it within a week or two.

Doodles drawn during an undated date in theory class. Must have been early on, first couple weeks in September or something. Here is the first appearance of Crhaigarrc, eldest of dragons. MG’s head is in the top left, saying “Hi! I like Aristotle”, but it appears that Crhaigarrc does not like Aristotle. TT_TT7 There are also some aborted eyeballs, a really tiny Kylyralessa staring up at Crhaigarrc, an elven shield, and some idiot who wants to play double basses that are as big as possible. He’s about to get his wish. Sort of.
