Kip! OMEGA Kip, being awesome. Sketch commish for TalonV. Technomance! It’s like romance, except… really, really not!
…He has too much hair. And an incredibly lame background. I had some fun exploring my brushes, though. I used some grunge brushes and even a blood spatter brush. Calligraphy brush for the white swirls, and of course the star brush on scatter.
Well, today was exciting. I walked to the Staples/Michael’s/Best Buy/Loblaw’s, which are all 35 min brisk walk away. The walk back took about an hour, and I took a rest in Ross Park (looks like a very nice park!) on the way. Why? Because I had about 25 lbs of stuff… wastebasket from Staples, computer stand from Best Buy, and a giant load of cleaning supplies from Loblaw’s. Still don’t have exactly what I need, but I have everything to keep this place clean. It was heavy and the wastebasket was awkward, but the rest I hung off the new broom and mop like dairy buckets.
Then I went to orientation and it was all right. Basically, don’t burn yourself out, and do your best. Sounds good.
Also the rest of my stuff came today. My closet is full of clothes. I really really need a bookcase, but that can wait until after I get everything else sorted out.
I meet my teacher tomorrow!

First of the sketch commissions, for Yllamse, fellow Wayrift fan. Hmm, why does this scenario seem like something exactly like what she’d draw herself? : D Not gonna lie, it was super fun to do.
Well! My room is clean, and I even hung up my clothes (as I could – there are only a few hangers here yet) and put the others in the dresser. The second drawer from the top sticks, so no one close it all the way or I’ll have to pound it open again. I scrubbed the whole room on my hands and knees. Well, not my knees, because that would be gross. I’d like to do a more thorough job, but I’ll save that for when I have my own materials. Right now I’m borrowing. …My hands smell like rubber gloves.
I haven’t seen as many insects as I thought I would, although I did see a super-creepy one this morning. It seems to be gone now, although I know it’s only in another room or in the walls. But I’ll get it next time. Brrrr.
I’m off to go clean the bathroom!! Then I can have a shower and relax.
EDIT: I cleaned not only the bathroom, but the sitting room and the hallway. I didn’t clean them quite as thoroughly; I just swept them, really. They’ll keep until I get my own cleaning supplies. Then I had a shower and had some food (food I obtained myself! just like a grown-up!) and now I am on the computer again, writing. I guess I could unpack some more but I don’t really want to yet. Today’s been exciting enough. Got a good cardio moving furniture around, whee. Also I put like two new points into ‘improvised weapon: broom’, so watch out!

Hey! It’s an Aiden! I got the urge to draw Zemi, too, so there’ll be a bit more Wayrift art from me in the near future… Heck, I’ll probably end up drawing Tsu and Kip and Leona too. But at the moment, Aiden.
Tried out something a bit different with colouring. And sketching, too… do you like these lines better? It’s sketchier and not so bold and outline-y. Maybe leaves a bit more up to the viewer’s imagination. Or maybe I’m just spouting nonsense. : P

Just looking at today’s (tomorrow’s? It’s still Thursday here on the West Coast…) page of Wayrift made me want to do some Zeb fanart, because goldarn is Zeb bad*** on it, even if he’s beating on his father. Because of his messed up, Zemus-enhanced daddy issues. : P
So. Zeb. And now that I’ve drawn him, I may find that I like him even more because I have a weakness for green-eyed long-black-haired tall guys. (*shoves Flairé affectionately*)
