Okay! This is Touya, drawn with the new expertise drawn from being given a manga-drawing book and Tsubasa Ch. Vol. 1 at the same time. Yay! His head came out quite well. The rest of him could need work, though the cloak is better than usual.
Oh, yeah, Joe Trio came and performed on Sunday! They were very good, of course, and they did a Peter Schikele version of Beethoven’s 5th Symphony that ended with – surprise, surprise! – the orchestra winning!
Note for Sunday: Too late to update properly; will do it next week if possible; very enjoyable family birthday party; too much Japanese food; good cake; lovely presents; hot chocolate with orange liquer. Good night.
Ummm? Tsubasa pairings! I drew Touya first, because he is my favourite character. The girl with him is some random desert girl whose name was perfect one night but I can’t remember it now – something like Sariko. Except it didn’t begin with an ‘s’. So Touya is cool, though his ‘girlfriend’ has a pretty small head. Then I drew Fai and Chi, because they are very sweet. As you can see I abandoned the anime-style hair. Then I did Syaoran and Sakura. >_<7 Then I did Kurogane and Tomoyo, and I didn’t have a reference for Tomoyo, and I don’t care for drawing Kurogane like an artist because by then I was bored, so they came out very poorly. Sorry.
My two favourite characters of Tsubasa Chronicle are Fai and Touya. Touya’s hair is completely terrible. I’m not sure what the kanji say anymore. I think ‘challenge’. The little Touya is better. And these guys would never have met in canon, so I guess I just stuck them together. Man, I like Touya’s big sword. It has no detail here, though.
