marthmovesiconAaaaah, I should have put this up long ago. Isn’t Ceniro great? I’m awful at battle sprites, but here it looks pretty good. (The movie, however, does not). Still, he looks rather cute in the talk-sprite, even if the hair is not really professional-looking. And the little sprite all on its own is a finished image. It’s just the frames of actual fighting are not.

Here’s a really ugly thing from even before that. It was a digital photo of Fire Emblem 7, of Lyn’s stats, and I just altered it like nuts and painted in Ceniro. Needless to say, it doesn’t look like it’s from Fire Emblem at all.cenirostats

Star Fox acted up yesterday after I finished my post. I couldn’t play the second level. My brother got to, we guess, the last level, but it was too hard. Anyway, we deleted it and started again, and it works for both of us now. There was a time when I was a little scared it was trying to take our Gamecube down too, because we’d put a disc - any disc - in and it would go to the Gamecube menu instead of playing the disc. We’d turn the power off and open it, and the disc wouldn’t be spinning so that meant that it hadn’t been playing at all.

Now it works, so I got to the dinosaur level. Yay. My brother beat the asteroid boss for me.

Still, we beat Lego Star Wars II. Now we’re going through the levels getting all the mini-kits and things (if possible).

I can’t draw Fox at all, so I’m not going to do a fancomic. I tried yesterday, just a silly idea that came into my head, but the characters were barely recognizable and the NPCs were just blobs because I ran out of patience. And interest.

Today I almost beat my brother in a vs. battle! The darn sniper rifle wouldn’t hit him, and I forgot to turn on my shield. So I lost after all. But if I had hit, I would have won!

I like the Star Fox music. The ‘oh no, tension’ music sounds A LOT like Mars from The Planets, with the repeated octaves in strings, but the Fox theme and the Wolf theme are both really nice. Isn’t it convenient how to conquer objectives, Fox basically just has to blow everything into smithereens? The end of the dinosaur level is funny, too. Man, is Falco a lame flyer or what? He keeps getting guys shooting at him! He’s got the highest proportion of retreats of anyone. Still, he’s cool and not as sarcastic as Star Fox 64, which my friends had about ten years ago. I loved playing the training mission on that one, and the first level. I played them over and over. I never got past level 3 because I was a chicken back then.

ceniropointingavatarThat’s better!
Cedric again, this time slightly better. At least in the hair department. Still not up to the pros.

This the last FE9.5 picture for a loooooong while, since I haven’t done anything since then. However, there’s still a lot of Fire Emblem coming up. Just a bit of 7, then a bunch of 8, and then I don’t know what.

I’m getting beat up… and I haven’t even played the game… (sob). I guess it’s only my fault I’m a loser. But after I’m done this, I’m going to kick him off there and play. Or I’ll make him play LSWII, since that’s what we really wanted in the first place!

I’ve been drawing pictures recently. I think I’m going to do a quick Star Fox fancomic, though… Fox/Krystal/Panther. With spoilers, but no one really cares because it’s only Gamecube.

And on related notes, I chopped Chapter 2 of In the Shadows Beyond This World into two pieces so now you get: “…What?” I like that title. It sums it up well, I think. Coming soon is Chapter 3: The Princess Explains (Again). I just have to rescue Ordona. Those Light Spirits are pretty wimpy, really.

zelafamilyiconLartan ended up having a big head in comparison to Cedric’s small one. I haven’t got the hang of this sprite thing yet.

Anyway, we watched Spiderman 2.1 once more today and then returned it. We rented Lego Star Wars II, which rocks once I get the controls figured out, and Star Fox Assault.

Kevin is playing that one way too much and beats me up in vs. ALL the TIME. Rrrrrr.

Lego Star Wars II I can’t wait to go back and play two-player (sometime before it gets returned, preferably… <_<7) through everything. I’m also hoping we get the invincibility extra, too.

carlnmarkiconSorry, I was too busy watching movies. Spiderman 2.1, you know. I like it. I like the music a lot. I liked the music documentary on the DVD a lot.

Cedric, in pixel form! It’s not very good. There is a revised version. Thanks to Fire Emblem Planet (wherever they are now) for the background of the top image. I think perhaps Ceddie’s head is a bit small.

This reminds me, I haven’t put up my Ceniro stuff at all. It was done in August of ‘05. I will put it up as soon as we’re done this little FE9.5 detour. Then we can get back to the sketchbooks.
