Ctrl+J is fab.

Tweaks coming tomorrow. And additions.

Can YOU name everyone here?

EDIT: Check the characters page! It is now covered in chibis. Except for the last four characters (Evylyin+Dymunde, Lyra, Lakia, and Cassandra) because I don’t consider them important enough. Comment if you disagree.

And I found a way that’s easier than Ctrl+J to make transparencies. lol.

EDIT 2: I tweaked a few of the chibis on the character page. Marteth’s head looks a little less like a football (still not ideal, though), Anne’s wing is the proper size, Jalril’s eyes are golden, and a few other colour changes. Cheers!

I felt like drawing people this day (17 August), so I started with Link, on the previous page, but he turned out rather creepy so you don’t get to see him. I think I was trying to draw his eyes like I observed them in Super Smash Bros. Melee. Which are purdy purdy. Anyway, then I gave up on trying to be better and just drew same-old same-old anime style. I tried to draw Marth (top left) and failed, but then I drew him again (top right) and it turned out better. Though with a bit too much angst, I think. Then I drew Esgalwen, and she came out well, though she and Flaria are disappointingly similar. Then I drew Roy, and he’s not the greatest, but whatever. And then Sain and Salir, because I haven’t for a while! Then I finished off with good ol’ Ceniro. Not my best portrait of him either, but whatever.

So… sick… Bleh. This week’s updates prepared beforehand so they should be a little more regular.

I played the Wayrift RPG, anyway. It was highly entertaining, although the flying fish got a little annoying after a while. Now I want to make my Zela RPG… not gonna happen, though. Piano! (runs)

Oh, and I also watched The Brain That Wouldn’t Die MST3K style on Sunday. It was pretty pathetic. And I got more comments on the fact that Adhemlenei is complicated to navigate, for some reason, so I’m redoing the About page. But no one can find it, even though it’s RIGHT THERE IN THE TOP RIGHT CORNER, so I need to make it more obvious somehow. Ummmm…

carlnmarkiconHappy Valentine’s Day! About six months late… This is Salir, I guess, and Sain in the corner, and I drew it for Valentine’s Day. Salir’s body is too big for her head, and that’s why she looks wierd. I’m not sure… I think Salir’s hair is shorter somehow… I never have a clear picture of what she looks like, just how she acts. I’m not publishing (or writing) The Mask, the fanfic about her, though. Ever.

Right now I’m writing an e-mail, filling out a survey for Collegium, watching some other site, reading about the organ reform movement, and working on this. Hmm, I should start writing out my quartet parts into ScoreWriter at the same time! And unloading my camera – took new silly pictures of something today, to do with ‘Star Wars’ and ‘action’ and ‘figures’ – oh, all right: Darth Vader is threatening to beat Han Solo over the head with a green Ep1 droid, and Pilot Luke and Pilot Biggs’ binoculars don’t work mainly because they are blasters pointed into their eyes (cracks up) – and make a new MD, and start writing my next story, and finish my sixth or so page of Chibiness… I can multitask when I feel like it!

pegasusiconSain, his wife Salir, and their teenaged son Alan, who ends up as Roy’s red-headed cavalier. Lance, his best buddy, is Kent and Fiora’s son, so everything works out amazingly neatly. Alan doesn’t look much like himself, though. Salir, actually, looks a lot like the ‘generic village girl’ I was beginning to model her after in looks. She’s also wearing a longer dress because she doesn’t need to mess with boys’ heads anymore. And I’m bad at drawing hands.

Friday I don’t remember what happened. Too bad, too.

esgalweniconThis is a picture of all the people who were living in a vivacious – er, lively-ish – fashion in my head at this time. L-R Lyra, the High Elf maiden who made Mengil into a good guy, but she looks more like Esgalwen than the girl next to her, Esgalwen. You can tell who’s who because Esgalwen has a dress with lots of pleats and she has a locket around her neck. Lakia stands next to her. Sitting are Rinako, who looks especially good here, and Salir, who you might remember is Sain’s girlfriend in my story. Up on the tree branch is a girl named Cassandra, with bright red hair and raggedy clothes from living on a deserted planet. The two Hylians are again talking, Raelle and Rana, and Raelle has her nice hair again. Ceniro wanted to be included, but my first attempt looked more like my amusing double bass player friend Anthony.

But see! The difference between “Esgalwen” (Lyra) and the “real” Esgalwen – so striking! I should draw pictures of Lyra and that will trick me into drawing Esgalwen.

“Esgalwen?”                                                                                  ”Lyra?”
Let’s just say they switched clothes.
