Then I tried to draw an actual serious portrait of Ralph. Fail. Oh well. He looks vaguely bishie. Although he has a stupid hat.

Aaaah, Nayru! I’ll save you! Overly-dramatically!

Here are some sketches of Ralph, who has a groovy 16 bar theme in the game in which he appears, The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Ages.  The theme made me want to draw him, so I did. Not very well, but the reference art I was using was really really small. Not that that’s an excuse. Hooray for Ralph/Nayru.

Here’s Ralph’s Theme. I’ve tried to arrange it before, so I can add it to my arsenal of ‘video-game-themes-I-can-play-on-piano’. I should try again sometime.
