sothevictoryiconI wanted to draw Link looking at Rana, but Rana decided not to cooperate, so he looked at Navi instead.

Yeah, I don’t know either.

pentlouiseiconYay, it’s Link! I drew the picture in pencil, and I was afraid of ruining it, so I scanned it before colouring, though it was very very light so I had to super-up the contrast so it looks like this (down there). Anyway, the picture did not get ruined, and I’m actually very pleased with the shading I did.

Yeah. Not much else to say about this. Though I’d like to. …I like this picture. Okay. I said it again.

Huh… I had a hard time deciding what to put up today… Marker drawings? Minis? Ceniro? I decided. Marker todaylinklaughpic and tomorrow, and then minis for two days, and then Ceniro the day after. Then I’m taking a break for the end of summer.

Come to the Alix Goolden at 2 tomorrow afternoon if you’re in the neighbourhood! It might be cute!

Ooh, my brother is a jerk. He never goes away the first time I ask him. And he drowns out the radio, and how much longer do we get Disc Drive? TWO WEEKS. WAAAAAH.

And just because he’s hungry, he’s come back (after I finally got him out for ten minutes) and is still making a huge jerk of himself. Aaaargh.

Quiz/Poll Questions: D’you think it’s worth using Javascript to keep the sidebar links updated? How about the category buttons? Who uses those? Would you miss them if I took them away? How about if I just put a link to the specific category page? Is there any way to update the linking mechanism so that for picture n, the next button will automatically link to picture n+1? What do you think would be good Kalmaeiric words for ‘north’ and ‘land’?

E-mail me the answers to any or all of these questions elfinessewebsiteathotmaildotcom! No hurry; you won’t see any of the proposed changes for many months. I work slowly. And the last I’ll be thinking about myself, so it’s covered even if nobody has anything specific to input there.

ephraimvaltericonAaaaaaand Link makes a triumphant and slightly off kilter re-entry (after those hideous… ‘drawings’ I made of his franchise a while ago) into Ocarina era Hyrule Castle Town! The text reads

“I heard there were supposed to be Redead in Hyrule Castle Town, but I don’t see any…”

And the sweatdrop belongs to Navi, of course.

Oh, and hey! A background! Link’s feet are a little poorly placed, but I have to say, his whole figure is almost completely… satisfactory.

Aaah, what am I talking about, I think this picture is gorgeous! (glomp)

I know, I could do even better, especially on the background, but at least there is one! And man is that Hylian good looking.

Two other pictures up today! More news previous!

reysonleanneiconI needed to draw Link again, so I did. It didn’t turn out that well, though. It’s not from any specific part of anything, though it’s clearly from Ocarina. His eye turned out pretty bad for once.

Today Grandma and Grandpa went to Saltspring.

Choir tonight was not so energetic as it usually is. I wonder why.

Don’t forget the fanart contest!

zeladanceiiavatarThis is a picture I drew on my whiteboard one day when I was bored. Dad took a picture of it with his digital camera. I like this picture! Navi’s nice, too.

Eh, I haven’t updated for a few days because of busy-ness and also tiredness. Now I’m annoyed because I have to go back and fix everything I let slide. Well, it’s my job, and I’ll try not to do it again, but I know it’ll happen. Probably when exams of any kind come up…

Did I do a real comparison of Last Exile DVDs yet here? No? Well, at Amazon.ca, like I said, you can get the 7-DVD boxed set, with about four episodes per DVD, English and Japanese dubs, and a bunch of extras, all for the low, low price of $134! At this other website, they sell Last Exile (and Tsubasa season 1!) on three (3) DVDs, Japanese only, English subtitles, for $30. That’s the one I want! Hahahaha!

Hey, if anyone’s ever played Super Smash Bros. Melee, Ocarina of Time, Four Swords, Animal Crossing, etc. you may find this person’s Deviantart gallery, which contains joke comics on all of the above and a couple others… and pretty funny ones, too. Also contains Marth-bashing (literally) animations, which I actually don’t mind. Nearly 300 pictures in there.

But she says that Link on the Wii is right handed! Aaaaaaah! Backwards! Aaaaaah! Must… obtain….. unaltered……. GC….. version…… (head explodes) Seriously, who made that decision? It’s bonkers! Even in the very first game, when you see Link from the front or the back, he’s using his left. From the side, they just flipped the same animation (lazy) but he’s always, always, always used his left.

I went and found my own proof. Go to the Twilight Princess site, click on Screenshots, and go to the sixth screenshot: where Link is facing an Ironknuckle thing. Now scream “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!” in classic Star Wars (and everything afterwards) style.

Heh, but I heard Wii has Navi and the GC version doesn’t… To get nine-tenths, or the other nine-tenths? That is the dilemma…

Note: I still have some dates messed up – I still don’t have anything up for the 22nd, but I’m fixing that tomorrow because I feel I did enough work on this today.

Fixed now.
