The cover to Book 1 of my Fire Emblem 7: Rekka no Ken fanfiction. Not my best work, but it started out really sketchy, and then I got serious, and then I got bored. It’s kind of random, just some people posing. Not inspired like the other one. So it’s really only here as a concept. Blah. Lyn’s Legion, GO!

I’ll do a better job of this someday. Maybe. If I feel like it. ; )

As it is Remembrance Day, have some beautiful poetry.

<NERD TIME> This morning, my D&D group got together… we’re millimetres from finishing the story arc, but we really only had time to finish the boss battle and then RUN home literally to get ready for the concert this afternoon. It was a good concert, although afterwards everyone made a fuss about how good I was to have covered for one person’s missed entrance that I forgot she missed by three bars later. : P Anyway, so we got back to the town that had weird-type zombies in it, and the DM’s older brother whom we’d never met before played the main NPC, which was awesome. (They have a very similar playing style, though E paces more than C and seems to have swallowed the rulebook a la Hermione.) And we found the boss, which was an evil cleric and a devil she summoned, and Myra and Torrigan (our cleric and paladin) took on the devil while Kellan and Illinia (our rogue and druid) took on the evil cleric. Kellan found the invisible cleric by running into her, and then the NPC wizard stopped her going out the door even with his old-man-STR 7, but then she got away, and the wizard ran after her and she knocked him out, and Illinia ran after to keep the wizard from dying, but then SHE GOT KILLED. Evil cleric rolled a critical on ‘Drain Life’ or something. So then Myra our good cleric got really mad, criticaled for max damage on the devil, and ran outside to help, where Illinia had been resurrected as a zombie by the cleric and forced to attack the rogue. So Myra dropped Illinia with Turn Undead, and someone got the evil cleric. Oh, and the paladin healed the wizard.

Fortunately, the zombie-healing potion we went away from the town for also resurrected Illinia in a normal fashion, so she’s back in action. I think. She’ll have some questions for the cleric when she gets past the dumbfounded stage, though. </NERD TIME>

So all that was just to say I feel like drawing a comic about our adventures sometime. Maybe Saturday morning, when I’m travelling. Though someone needs to email me back about all that because we still have planning to do!

wilflorinaiconWell! Here is Ceniro, and he’s just going to make me squeal with delight, because I always like it when he shows up. In this picture, he’s actually journeying with Eliwood, but Lyn took time out for ‘Lyn’s Legion’, the Original, to get together, so there’s Florina, the little figure on the left, Wil sitting between her and Lyn, Lyn waving her sword with rather long arms… and Kent and Sain, who are too far away to tell apart. And their loyal friendly tactician is sitting under a tree a short distance away, just enjoying the fact that they’re there again, and not even looking at his Gam- farseer. Seriously, it’s not a Gameboy. Really. It has buttons and stuff, but they’re not Gameboy buttons. Actually, the latest design has no buttons. I figured that would be beyond the imagination of medieval spellsmiths. It might have had levers, but its designer thought those would maybe catch on things and just generally be too unwieldy. So it has a purely magic interface. Now, at least.

Anyway, this picture is wholly uncanon, as Lyn would never steal the tactician very far away from the army when the world is in jeopardy. And Lyn’s Legion ought to include Erk, Serra, Matthew, Rath, Wallace, Nils, Ninian, and Lucius, regardless of the fact that they joined after Sain and Wil coined the title. So… this picture is not very realistic, but… Ceniro is my squeezy! Or something. (*Ceniro leaves hastily*) I wonder where he’s going. Probably afraid for his life. Oh well.

Yay background!

Two more days of work! Actually, I was less tired at work yesterday. Just as tired walking home from it, though. I attribute all the energy to Vancouver and all the tiredness to not sleeping enough. It’s fixing, though! Really! I got lots of sleep last night.

haircuticonI like this picture. My brother thinks it’s dumb, of course. Ceniro’s leg is pretty thin, but it looks cool!

I think this could be more called Have you glomped your tactician today?

This is the latest picture for today, so I’m not sure what to do now. I suppose I should assure you that school is great fun, that our choir practice group nearly failed despite all our dozens of practices, that I’m composing the equivelant of ‘the epilogue of a book’ – it used to be ‘a few pages of the epilogue of a book’ but now I’m doing the whole thing (it’s a Mass) – that I’ve been to several most excellent concerts which I enjoyed greatly, that I’m taking on what people are telling me is a near-impossible accompanying feat (I don’t care – the poor fellow needs my help), and that my first boyfriend is a sweet creature and also a musician (as if anyone doubted that for a second). Yes, he is.

flairelovelyrulesiconFlairé: Well, she’s late again, so I’m writing these today. Your latest picture as of today, which would not be the 14th unless your Daylight Saving Time and International Date Line are way off, is findable by clicking on the above link. Perhaps, next weekend, she will get around to doing the rest of the pictures, which will probably get us into a spot of miniatures at last, but I for one am not optimistic at the moment.

My crazy brother will be up tomorrow if I am wrong.

Thank you for coming!

Art contest! Take a look! Deadline Dec 1! I forgot to add prizes, but they’re here now!

princedespairiconThis picture was drawn during a Christmas – I don’t know which Christmas, so I’ll put it in here. Ha. It’s just a quick sketch done during one of my piano teacher’s group classes.

I played organ for Grandma and Grandpa and we went to Mount Tolmie.

glorriveniconAnother version of Heroes All! With Lyn, too, because she’s so cool. The strange people here are (L-R) Mengil, who was an evil Warhammer Dark Elf who was rather handsome in the White Dwarf article about him. So now he’s a good guy because I say so. Then there’s Legolas, then Kusko, the skinny dude, and Kurama sitting on the ground, explaining botany to Jim from Treasure Planet and his rocket-powered skateboard, and then Sain is sitting on a stump, chatting with the two Hylians: Raven and Link III, and Sain’s taken off his hip-plates. And Lyn is posing because she’s good with a sword.

I bought Tsubasa 6, too! Fai is painfully funny when he’s drunk. Poor Fai.
