Sims 3 screenshot dump 1

This post has screenshots of the Sims 3 games in which Leslie and I are roommates. :)

She is a fantastic friend IRL. Today for whatever reason she gave me a beautiful scarf! She didn’t stop to chat but I’ll have to ask her what’s up with the random present giving. :D

In game, here’s some pics.

First house I built ever; chillin' with guitars.

Kevin is our neighbour!

He lives with Cedric and Nathan; Leslie went to visit.

Okay. I still don't get this.

See, Michael is in this town too, and he came to visit, and then left the house when it got late, and……… started reading a book just outside the front porch. Whut?

Kevin likes to cook. IRL, too.

And making faces at himself in the mirror. "You go, Kev!"

Me playing guitar at the new house. (This is actually a different save - whatever)

Work clothes!

Playing chess in work clothes!

Leslie, rocking out while in her conductor uniform.

Driving to visit Kevin...

More Christmas Presents

More Christmas presents for people!

First, my role-playing buddy, Torrigan the Paladin!

Dec ’10

His hair is supposed to be black but blue is a common highlight for black hair.

Second, a pair of statues I made for Leslie and Organist out of Sculpey clay!

Leslie’s you may recognize. I tried to copy this page from TTNCAOF. Organist does swordfighting as a… an intensive hobby. :)

Now let’s hope that silly sword blade stays on. It’s plasticard covered with foil. Modelling trick. But even superglue might not be enough every once in a while.

I’m kind of sad to let these little guys go. But I still have the pictures. I have a kazillion pictures.

Is this really what I'd do if I were rich? ...Dunno. Check back later.

So this just popped into my head – first the song, Douce France by Charles Trenet, which is an absolutely gorgeous song and you should listen to it, and then the picture. The picture is what I would do if I were rich and could afford a convertible and enough time to go on one of them old-fashioned ‘road trips’ – oh, and if I had the inclination to go on a road trip. : P Anyway, so I’d drag Leslie and Kevin and Organist along with me, and we would crank up Trenet to top volume and just cruise happily. And we’d all wear sunglasses ‘coz we’re cool like that. Actually I’ve never seen Kevin wear sunglasses. But I’m sure he has them. I’m not sure what’s happening in the back seat, but it looks like Kevin wants to see the map but Organist won’t let him.

Not much has happened in the last little while… Got some Ravel to learn – SO PRETTY!! Le Tombeau de Couperin, for clarification. Also we watched Cars. Also whenever anyone hands me a phone, my voice clogs up. SO BAD. It doesn’t clog up any other time. I’d say I was perfectly healthy (had a cough about a month ago and it’s taken its sweet time leaving… >: (  except I take the phone and immediately have to clear my throat fifty times which doesn’t make a good impression on the person on the other end…

Also – got around to reading the Gospel of Matthew today. Pretty straightforward and to the point. But then I read the New English Version. Going to read the King James tomorrow and compare.

Btw those Old Spice commercials are pretty funny.

My brother just put his shirt on inside out and backwards without noticing. 8)

Sketchbook cover

Jan 2010

(620)

By request, here is the cover of the sketchbook that the Leslie/Flairé comic was drawn in. I bought a little package of Japanese paper and proceeded to cover up the complete doke who previously adorned this book. He was rollerblading with a giant pen.

Flairé and Leslie are represented, but the rest is just random.

I will not be updating for a little while. But I have some stuff for you when I start again!

The Totally Not-Canon Adventures of Flairé: Episode 1: Lost Blackbird: Page 33: Waking Up

Leslie: Was it a dream? I could have sworn I fell asleep in the practice room… Look, there’s my backpack and my music books, and my keys…

She goes to look out the window of her dorm, and then turns away to her computer (Faceborg!! j/k). But a mysterious smile still hangs in the reflections in the window…

THE LASTEST PAGE!! I’m actually feeling a little bit sad that I don’t have to do it anymore. The weekly scramble to draw and colour pages on Sunday… continuing a story I don’t even know if anyone reads or cares about or finds interesting… but that’s okay! A new story MIGHT start in September! Anyway, I’ve been told by other artists this is completely normal. And in fact I’m not that sad. It’s nice to finish something! I have a lot of things I want to finish!

The next thing I am planning to finish is Ephraim’s Story. So perhaps you will see some chapters of that going up. I have to be careful because I have Provincials to practice for. And after that organ to practice like crazy.

I also want to work on character bio portraits (Flaer’s is soooo hot – but he’s the only one I’ve done!) and character sculptures. And play Marth’s game. Whoo.

Also I have completely fallen in love (again) with Eric Beaudry’s voice. I’d marry that voice. srsly.
