esgalwenavatarYaaay! Commander Lord Ike!

I was listening to Fire Emblem 9 music, and there’s this one track that sounds so… cinematic. It’s called #38 “Rally the Spirit”, and it has this rush in it and then a beautiful theme in the trombones… It’s just like climbing to the top of a green hill ahead of your army and seeing your beautiful homeland once again, and the sun shines on your face and the wind streams through your hair and makes your headband tails flow out behind you… Doesn’t seem to have much effect on your cloak, however.

I did use something of a reference for Ike’s hair. I also did this in pseudo-anime style (see mouth) but I do like the eye and ear. This whole picture completely made up for the last three or four sloppy jobs.

I love FE9 music! I should listen to it more often! I should try and put it on my iPod!

Sherlock Holmes with Jeremy Brett is now on KCTS (at midnight, I believe… we’re taping it – yes, we still have a VCR! And mighty proud of it, too!). We’ve seen A Scandal in Bohemia and The Dancing Men which has a nice guy die in it… too bad! But Holmes – I mean, Brett – oh, forget it, Holmes – is brilliant! Hooray!

rinakoavatarUm, I guess I felt like drawing Fire Emblem 9 people. Imaginary cookies to people who can identify everyone of the Greil Mercenaries, and the Laguz in the back. Hints: the person lying on the ground has ‘hungry’ written over her, like so:

Hungry

Hungry

So she must be Ilyana. ^_^7 Then the crazy hawk is Janaff. And Mia is not recognizable, but she’s next to Rhys. Reyson is the bird in the middle in the back in the sky.

That was fun, even if I somehow came out with scribbly good guys. (unheard of, huh?)
I can’t remember what happened Tuesday. I probably went to choir and had a FANTASTIC TIME. As usual. Oh, and I believe Leslie and Michael G were both amenable, as of this date (Sep 25) to practice choir stuff on our own sometime. (As of today Oct 11 we actually did practice. More on that later) Michael M is in first choir, so the Vaughen Williams would have been a lost cause. I don’t think I know any second basses, though I think I might know a second alto.

waterdancericonThis picture is of… King Tibarn of the hawks consulting with Ike, and Janaff to get in the way- er, help. They demonstrate their incredible shapeshifting power. Ike begins to get a plan. He’s supposed to be going ‘hmm’ in the second half.

Pfft, yeah right. As if he’d forget they can transform. I can’t draw hands.

Chapter 1 of my next dumb story is finally going up. If you are easily offended by drastic changes to the plot of popular games, I would say don’t read this – e.g, Link changes his name in Chapter 1, and other things happen that aren’t perhaps very reassuring. I’m planning for the rest of the story to be rather that way, too. Everything, it seems to me at this stage, will be very tightly locked together, more so than in the game, where, of course, you can run around and do all kinds of things in between story segments. For those of you not offended, and for those of you crazy enough to like my previous stories (no insult intended, and thank you, thank you, thank you), this one may be the best, and it will wrap up some loose ends… Enjoy!
