suldaliconThe Gerudos continue their interpretive (?) dance or whatever while Ganondorf chases Link around, giving some meaning to the song. Hey, my ability to draw Ganondorf went up! ^_^7

zelaavatarsm2This wiiiieeeeerd picture is based on the One Jump Ahead song from Aladdin (by Disney). Link is singing the lead, Ganondorf is playing the guards, and those Gerudo in the back do a little dance during the musical-only bits. There are three pictures total. Link looks like a total dork here. The Gerudos have no hands.

Hey, jump to page 36 and tell me something. How do the link buttons look in that configuration? I don’t know… I think I’ll have to redesign the whole page-navi section. Those eight little pseudo-sandstone buttons. Maybe if I add a vine or something of interest to the last one, it will be less boring. And yes, the ‘newest category’ links are all wonky. Don’t trust them.

We watched An Inconvenient Truth today, or most of it, because it was on TV. My brother was very affected by it. We need to save the world!!! Personally, I can’t do much yet; I’m taking the bus through necessity, and stuff… I can try to limit my consumerism, but that’s the subject of the next paragraph. I read a similar-sounding article in Muse magazine – about poor people in a certain village in a certain country only needing $27 US for 60 people in order to cut out the middle-man and get a fair restart or something… Some economics professor won a Nobel Peace Prize for negotiating with the banks to change some stupidly strict rules and lend those people that money. And then in National Geographic there was a slum of industrious people. They make money, but they have nowhere to live as we Westerners would call ‘comfortable living’ and it seems they think our luxury is really stupid and wasteful. And it’s springing up all around them. I’m being really general, here, and probably giving false impressions because I don’t have the articles in front of me, so I’m just telling you where to find them and which ones so you can see what I’m seeing. Neh?

Uh, consumerism… My MD player is really great, it hasn’t broken yet, runs on rechargeable batteries, but… I want something even more convenient. An MP3 player of the sort that stores the songs (and video – now you can hardly get them without video – iPod nano is an exception, but it doesn’t have enough memory, I think) in the hard drive. A whole music library in one little box. Yeah. Convenience. I just bought five new MDs because the old five were all full, and so far I’ve only used one new one. Mom pointed out that we still use our 25-30 year old video camera – or at least did until recently – even after we bought a newer, more advanced one (I wouldn’t know which one is which, so I can’t prove this to you). That made me feel better.

If I do get an MP3 player, I’d like a 4GB, no-screen (and blue coloured if possible!) thing. Not necessarily iPod. That would be nice. Black or silver is a good colour too. ^_^7

I didn’t update yesterday because they were playing The Planets live in Toronto on the radio and they didn’t stop until bedtime.

That chinese person translates “Mekyo”, Mokona’s little “I found the feather” noise differently each time. Also both episodes 4 and 6 were titled “Don’t Cry” in the subtitles. In a list I made of the episodes watchable on YouTube (obselete because of copyright issues) Ep. 4 was The Innocent Vagabond and 6 was Uncried Tears. 4 could have been a reference to Sakura telling Fatty “don’t cry” but 6 is because Syaoran is having difficulty accepting that Sakura doesn’t remember him.

Spiderman is funny!

Final Timeless Ocarina is up, plus an ‘uncut’ version of the final chapter. Whoo! Now I can move on to other dumb sappy projects! -_-7 Be warned, there’re two sequels. -_-7

balrogiconHere is Link with a longer-than-usual hat (nifty hat…ooh…) and that sweet Master Sword (in his right hand – d’oh) and Rana with wierd short hair (reflecting my own haircut at the time; I was wondering if she would look good that way, but she only looked like Saria), with her sword in her left hand – d’oh again – facing a Gerudo with her swords attached to her arms – ?? – and everyone with SHORT LEGS. The only thing I knew about drawing Gerudos was that they had red hair (well, I work in grey and white) and wore rather scanty deserty-style clothing and they had waaaay too much makeup. Even Nabooru looks wierd. So this picture is junk, but the Master Sword is nice.

Flowering trees are everywhere! Yay! They used to only be on View St. but now they’re all over, including some really pretty little ones right on Ceder Hill X. So nice… They make me smile.

Daylight savings in spring is not good for me… I can’t even get up at nine now, let alone eight, which is seven before the time shift and when I was getting up last week. Still, it’s so light in the evening!
