The cover to Book 1 of my Fire Emblem 7: Rekka no Ken fanfiction. Not my best work, but it started out really sketchy, and then I got serious, and then I got bored. It’s kind of random, just some people posing. Not inspired like the other one. So it’s really only here as a concept. Blah. Lyn’s Legion, GO!

I’ll do a better job of this someday. Maybe. If I feel like it. ; )

As it is Remembrance Day, have some beautiful poetry.

<NERD TIME> This morning, my D&D group got together… we’re millimetres from finishing the story arc, but we really only had time to finish the boss battle and then RUN home literally to get ready for the concert this afternoon. It was a good concert, although afterwards everyone made a fuss about how good I was to have covered for one person’s missed entrance that I forgot she missed by three bars later. : P Anyway, so we got back to the town that had weird-type zombies in it, and the DM’s older brother whom we’d never met before played the main NPC, which was awesome. (They have a very similar playing style, though E paces more than C and seems to have swallowed the rulebook a la Hermione.) And we found the boss, which was an evil cleric and a devil she summoned, and Myra and Torrigan (our cleric and paladin) took on the devil while Kellan and Illinia (our rogue and druid) took on the evil cleric. Kellan found the invisible cleric by running into her, and then the NPC wizard stopped her going out the door even with his old-man-STR 7, but then she got away, and the wizard ran after her and she knocked him out, and Illinia ran after to keep the wizard from dying, but then SHE GOT KILLED. Evil cleric rolled a critical on ‘Drain Life’ or something. So then Myra our good cleric got really mad, criticaled for max damage on the devil, and ran outside to help, where Illinia had been resurrected as a zombie by the cleric and forced to attack the rogue. So Myra dropped Illinia with Turn Undead, and someone got the evil cleric. Oh, and the paladin healed the wizard.

Fortunately, the zombie-healing potion we went away from the town for also resurrected Illinia in a normal fashion, so she’s back in action. I think. She’ll have some questions for the cleric when she gets past the dumbfounded stage, though. </NERD TIME>

So all that was just to say I feel like drawing a comic about our adventures sometime. Maybe Saturday morning, when I’m travelling. Though someone needs to email me back about all that because we still have planning to do!

wilflorinaiconWell! Here is Ceniro, and he’s just going to make me squeal with delight, because I always like it when he shows up. In this picture, he’s actually journeying with Eliwood, but Lyn took time out for ‘Lyn’s Legion’, the Original, to get together, so there’s Florina, the little figure on the left, Wil sitting between her and Lyn, Lyn waving her sword with rather long arms… and Kent and Sain, who are too far away to tell apart. And their loyal friendly tactician is sitting under a tree a short distance away, just enjoying the fact that they’re there again, and not even looking at his Gam- farseer. Seriously, it’s not a Gameboy. Really. It has buttons and stuff, but they’re not Gameboy buttons. Actually, the latest design has no buttons. I figured that would be beyond the imagination of medieval spellsmiths. It might have had levers, but its designer thought those would maybe catch on things and just generally be too unwieldy. So it has a purely magic interface. Now, at least.

Anyway, this picture is wholly uncanon, as Lyn would never steal the tactician very far away from the army when the world is in jeopardy. And Lyn’s Legion ought to include Erk, Serra, Matthew, Rath, Wallace, Nils, Ninian, and Lucius, regardless of the fact that they joined after Sain and Wil coined the title. So… this picture is not very realistic, but… Ceniro is my squeezy! Or something. (*Ceniro leaves hastily*) I wonder where he’s going. Probably afraid for his life. Oh well.

Yay background!

Two more days of work! Actually, I was less tired at work yesterday. Just as tired walking home from it, though. I attribute all the energy to Vancouver and all the tiredness to not sleeping enough. It’s fixing, though! Really! I got lots of sleep last night.

marthmovesiconThe guy is Wil, and the girl is Florina. Florina is a shy, shy little pegasus knight, about 16 years old, and Wil is a friendly archer. Florina’s terrified of guys, because she’s a girl, and she’s scared of girls with bows, because they could hurt her pegasus Makar, and she’s absolutely terrified of guys with bows because of both put together. But when they first speak to each other, Wil is so nice, and Florina actually makes a effort to answer… plus they look sweet together, so even though one can’t pair them in the game - no support conversations - I still paired them.

For this picture, I almost traced Florina’s artwork, and Wil I sort of copied from the game. He’s too tall, actually.

Kevin is too obsessed with scaring people! He runs around town as a wolf, attacking the guards, and chasing people who run, and barking at people who don’t… no one is safe! Except that he can’t actually attack them!
… This is from Twilight Princess, by the way.
