crownstarsiconThese two guys are named Carl and Mark. Carl is the one with the (red) sweatshirt and Mark is the one with sunglasses. They’re from an original (gasp) story bouncing around in my head. Carl is a bummy jerk, thinking of dropping out of Grade 11, and Mark is the school genius and a bit fussy about his appearence. Their class goes to some (foreign?) city where Carl wanders off, bored, Mark goes to go get him, and the bus leaves without them. The part requiring suspension of disbelief follows (until I can sort it out realistically) because somehow they have no way to call home. Or talk to the police. Or anything. They’re ‘stranded in civilization’. And have to work together to make it back. Wow, how clichéed. At least it’s my own characters and my own setting messing it up, not some FE or LZ (or, heaven forbid, ME) folks in their own nerdy world (where, admittedly, it might be easier to come up with an excuse for the scenario).

Scenario, by the way, was Soren’s name in the very first translations of Fire Emblem 9. And Titania was Tiamat. Søren is actually a Norwegian name decended from the Latin Severus, which means ‘stern’.

If Harry Potter fans start mobbing me now I will ask Soren to blast ‘em all – it’s to protect his dignity, after all.

Last chapter of Mask of Darkness to the Island of Dreams is finally up! I only left out one thing – I couldn’t find a place that fit to put that Marin has tiny little pointed ears. Not like those great big twitching things Link has.

Well, twitching things anyway.
I will not be starting the end-quel until after I get back. I finally came up with a name for it.

And this afternoon there was a mosquito in the church and it was really distracting me from playing Simon Preston’s Alleluyas.

Kevin was playing one of the Adventure Games at Rinkworks, the Trail of Anguish one, and I got a pretty good picture of Kendra Connell (and Kenneth, her brother) so I drew one.
