Anatomy practice that somehow turned into my angel. : ) His shins are not long enough? Just enough to make him seem top-heavy, not by much.

I am much closer to having a clean room!!! I actually vaccuumed today!!

I will post a really good picture tomorrow. Can’t wait!

I watched Chariots of Fire last night, again, with some good friends I haven’t seen in a while. Hope I didn’t annoy them by chattering so much. I talk sooooooo much, and it only gets worse when I haven’t seen someone in a while, and don’t have as much contact with them through the internet.

Still looking for a job.

Taken up Clementi’s Gradus Ad Parnassum. I wanna get my left hand in shape!

Aaaaand here  I demonstrate that I indeed DO know how to accomplish what I want to do with my life, or rather, the people who live in my head know how I can accomplish what I want to do in my life. It’s quite succinct, really. “Do that thing until you are sick of it. You’ll recover.” Which is entirely true. I’m just lazy. I think the angel came out quite well in this picture. Flairé… not so much.

I heard from my Japanese friend! She’s all right. …I know, you didn’t know I had a Japanese friend, so this announcement is not as exciting as it could have been. But still.

I watched FFVII: Advent Children (you know, that sequel spin-off movie) last night. Omigosh it is so funny! The belief-defying physics, the corny dialogue (tho I watched it in Japanese with subtitles), Reno, Vincent, Bahamut, Sephy… I was rolling around in my chair giggling like an idiot (and squeeing every time there was a pretty boy on the screen, sooo… there was a LOT of squee. Good thing my brother wasn’t there.). And then I went on Wikipedia (because I like researching things I already know : P ) and found out THERE’S AN EXTENDED EDITION OMIGOSH WHY HAS NO ONE TOLD ME OF THIS. GAH. So I shall away to Best Buy tomorrow (now that I know where it is) and see if they have it. It appears to be only on Blu-Ray or however you spell that newfangled gimmick, but my dad’s computer plays Blu-Ray and when I get a new computer (as I shall sooner or later) I shall also. Anyway. Pretty boys. With swords. Yes. I think I understand the plot but really it’s not important at all. : D

I like bagpipes.

Moar figure drawing! Also trying to figure out angels with folded wings. Still. I have a vague idea.

The flowing red hair is just ’cause.

I have a pair of the awesomest music-themed hand-warmers known to intelligent life. : D Thank you AlexR’s mom!!

The concert was pretty good. The audition was pretty good. This webcomic is pretty good.

Actually, the concert was great and I loved it. (Apparently I made some jaws drop. Yee! <3 ) The reception was amazing (real Scottish shortbread! In spades!). The audition was good except for the Dutilleux (D., shape up. You are no longer my favourite. >: P ). That webcomic is loltastic. “The Royal College of Organists… where often is heard… maniacal laughter!” NOT SOMETHING YOU SEE EVERY DAY. Unless you have a really good source of organist jokes, in which case SHARE PLZ I LOVE TEH FUNNIES! <3

Off to ‘perfect my art’, as someone once said! :wink:

Hi! Well, I could have drawn a kalmaeirin or a video-game couple; stars know I have a lot of them. But instead I bring you: my Angel and myself. Part of a figure-drawing blitz; felt like colouring it. Didn’t turn out quite right but whatever.

So yeah, my conscience is gonna be my date for tomorrow. : D Flairé also offered, but I thought this would be more appropriate because while I can’t spend too much time with Flairé, it’s also difficult to spend too much time with my conscience! And I haven’t done so in a while. I’m going to be hanging out with both these guys a lot over the next little while anyway, so don’t worry about them.

I only have: Alex’s Grad Recital (to which you should come because he’s playing wacky music and I’m dressin’ up) and one of two auditions left for this weekend.

So tired… why did I stay up to draw this? : P I am a silly silly girl.

This is my guardian angel, also known as the personification of my conscience. He doesn’t always carry that big sword around, but he does use it for beating off demons – and sometimes for whacking me over the head when I do something stupid. But mostly he whaps me in the head or shoulder with his hand – or just crosses his arms and looks disapproving.

He’s also supportive when I need him, but that’s more Flairé’s job.

I was going for a sort of sunset-like background. Hovering in clouds at sunset. You know the type. (Also he still looks cool against pink. : D ) I’m really happy with his face; it’s the best face I’ve done yet. The wings were hard but I went to DeviantArt and looked at some tutorials, and they gave me some ideas. Still not quite right, but good for a first try, a first try in colour anyway! Also he’s now in the characters section.

Not much has happened recently. : P It’s summer.

Oh, well, Zela is in Lion’s Arch in Guild Wars, so… if you want to hike around Kryta with her, you know, comment, and we’ll set something up! I saw my guild boss was online today… prolly should have said hello – the guild has been quiet! Also probably because it’s summer. But when I saw him I had been afk watching Mythbusters for a bit. Anyway. I’m going to spend my last 1.5 weeks of freedom practicing and drawing! I should probably get some sort of buffer for the comics I still think I’m going to be doing…

I AM INSANE. Comics, costumes, NaNoWriMo… one of these has got to go. I think maybe I’ll skip the novel this year. Comments?
