My Prediction

sorenavContrary to the title, I’m not very good at predicting things. I predicted that we would see the picture drawn a month after this one… today. But we get to see this one first, which, believe it or not, is a better picture.

Explanations: my friend lx-sama (previously Niii~iii-sama, but he got tired of that) has a world in his head called Agnar. It’s an anime show that he brings out every once in a while to amuse me. The hero’s name is Oshitaku, the heroine’s name is Ali, and there’s something about a monkey… and robotic frogs… and possibly werewolves on wheels. Um. Anyway, I suggested doing it as a comic (because I can’t animate worth beans traditional-style – not that I’ve had much practice, or chance to try) and so this scenario popped into my head and I drew it! Because all lx-sama apparently does is try to make me laugh. I think about three other people are saying indignantly “Hey, that’s my job!” after reading that – the truth is that I laugh easily (and at most if not all of you, depending on the taste of the jokes). The reason for the decreasing quality of the picture is that lx himself showed up halfway through, so I had to finish it quick to show him. Still have my new haircut, apparently, and the rectangular thing over on the right is a table. I’m not sure what I’m working on in the first frame. Either homework or drawing something.

Partway through Chapter 3 of The Tactician and the Jewel. Huzzah! Production has been slowed due to major gameplaying/piano practicing. But still, one minor villain out of the way, and a new toy for our favourite Jen’s-head-resident strategist. Whee! Still, go vote! –>

And now for the important news:

OHMIGOSHOHMIGOSHOHMIGOSH I beat Fire Emblem 10: Goddess of Dawn Elincia Endgame sorenheartav(finally) AND THE GREIL MERCENARIES ARE SO AWESOME OHMIGOSH. THEY’VE TURNED ME INTO A TOTAL FREAK I MEAN FANGIRL. I’m not drooling. Yet. I don’t do drool. But SQUEE Soren and Oscar are so cool! I went and had a look at the art page after I started Part III Prologue and… is Nintendo trying to give me a heart attack with all the dozens of hot guys in this game? Seriously, there’s Sothe and Edward and Leonardo and Tormod and Pelleas and Geoffrey and Kieran sorta and Ikesorta (he looks too much like his father now) and that grumpy Tibarn sorta and Shinon and Rhys and maybe Boyd and Zihark and Ranulf and Naesala and Haar and Sephiran and Reyson and Soren and Oscar!! And Renning and Rafiel, but Renning has a mustache and Rafiel looks more like a woman than any other FE man ever; including Lucius who looks less like a girl in the actual game. And Kurthnaga and Janaff (and Zelgius, who I don’t know is good or evil yet), who I KNOW are there but whom I haven’t met yet. Well, I think that ‘Kurth’ guy is pretty suspicious. Hehheh.

Glory. GriefFamily. Sheer awesomeness. That’s the Greil Mercenaries. (With good voice acting.)

Also I played a siege game with my brother and it’s a good thing I won the previous game because I got an extra 50 points to buy Lothern Sea Guard with so I had nine instead of six and it came down to the last dice roll to see if I lost. I think it was a tie but my brother says I won. Fine with me. Apparently next week we play a full siege game instead of skirmish. It took a while to find unambiguous rules for log rams, too.

Also I memorized more Beethoven! Almost done the first movement.

My new jeans are great as long as I wear my long tank-top and don’t sit down too often. Pickle sandwiches. What is wrong with humans?

sothevictoryicon I lied; sketchbook scans return tomorrow. The colour version of this picture which got sent to people as a weird birthday party invitation. L looks awesome; lx says his boots look furry, (they’re not) and MG likes his sword. And Claire likes her pegasus, which really I just coloured in by erasing the sky. Hehheh.

I am ignorant. I realized that this morning. Oh dear. In other news, I am more confused as to the plot of Phantom of the Opera than I ever was before.

Don’t forget to vote on the RnK chapter plot poll! (scroll down on the right) Still haven’t started the next chapter but I’m quite certain how some scenes are going to play out. Will try and focus as much as possible on Ceniro’s POV, but will have to jump around and show villains plotting sometimes otherwise will be too confusing and possibly more boring. Will start later today, after playing Warhammer with my bro, practicing Beethoven (second movement is memorized, baby! …though it’s the shortest movement… gonna try the first one today) and completing my full intention of beating Elinicia’s Endgame chapter in FE10. Go, go, Geoffrey/Haar/Elincia/Kieran! Kick butt and watch out for flying axes! : P

Red Dwarf Series VI is not as funny as all the series that are before it…

esgalwenavatar Whoohoo! This is a picture of all my closest friends at the time of drawing. Most of them are still my closest friends, although there ought to be more of them now. We’re all Fire Emblem characters. From L-R, there’s Michael the pianist, the red-armoured cavalier, KevinT the pianist, the ‘mercenary’ class swordsman, Claire the soprano, the pegasus knight, L the pianist, the archer, Jennifer the pianist, apparently switching classes to be a fire mage (let’s say this is FE7 so it’s easier, anyway), Nathan the clarinetist, the armour knight, lx-sama, the dark-magic wielding shaman, Michael the violist, the green-armoured cavalier (did you see what I did thar), and .t, the fighter-class axeman. Scale is a little skewed because I started it as a picture of N, because I was discussing it as him and I was quite sure he would be a great armour knight, and then added everybody else later. I’m happy with N, lx, .t, L, and Claire. The rest are not so good, but passable… very close to passable…

So I sent out this picture, coloured in Photoshop, as a sort of invitation to my birthday that year. It was a great gathering. Claire and lx sat next to each other, though, which meant I nearly died of laughter. Teehee.

Very tired… need to stop being an idiot about sleep and get some done. Also my feet hurt pretty badly and I can’t think of why. Standing for 12 hours over two days in comfortable shoes should not kill them!

Dramatic TdF today… poor Cadel. Not a good year for him. Next time! On the other hand, Andy Schleck is CUTE. : D

Still plugging away at Ephraim’s Chapter 4. Nearly done that; getting ready for the Siege of Fort Rigwald. Can’t remember what happens at the end of the chapter, though, because I have a drawing from last summer of Ephraim questioning an enemy soldier after the dust settles but I have no memory of what he acutally say. Also I’m getting ideas for what Ceniro did between Lyn’s campaign and the year after that.

Tomorrow’s picture is awesome!

Doodles

« ... »

Today’s post is going to be a bit different. It is vastly long, and covers a whole year of doodles. Actual artwork will be presented in its regular order afterwards, but as I didn’t do too much during the 2007-2008 school year we should be finished with it within a week or two.

theorydoodles

Doodles drawn during an undated date in theory class. Must have been early on, first couple weeks in September or something. Here is the first appearance of Crhaigarrc, eldest of dragons. MG’s head is in the top left, saying “Hi! I like Aristotle”, but it appears that Crhaigarrc does not like Aristotle. TT_TT7 There are also some aborted eyeballs, a really tiny Kylyralessa staring up at Crhaigarrc, an elven shield, and some idiot who wants to play double basses that are as big as possible. He’s about to get his wish. Sort of.

historydoodlesnov28

Various doodles, 28 Nov. From top left is Jerome from Prime of Ambition (the cute LG one), a guy who thinks he found his iPod but actually found the tongue of some huge unimpressed lizard, some attempts at drawing butterfly wings, and the item that ruined this page for taking notes, some sort of elf with wings. Or an angel woman. Something graceful, anyway.

historyflairedec4

Flairé has a caterpillar. Which was once part of his lip but it turned out bad so I scribbled it out and turned it into something else. On the left is a female heart from L. Thanks, L!

historyedgeworthjan18 Second term; Edgeworth doodle. 18 Jan.

historykalvifeb15 A really bad concept for a kalmaeirin string instrument. I mean, look! You couldn’t play that thing. The neck bends out from under the strings. 15 Feb.

historymikeapr2 MG. But not very good.

historyalexapr4 lx-sama playing in Claire’s piece, The Divine. That was a lot of fun. “Gawdammit, Agnes!” :D :D :D

4 Apr.

And on that light note, I’m off to clean my desk, teach my brother how to play Cat’s Cradle, watch another ep of Red Dwarf, practice piano, teach my bro organ, and somewhere in there have lunch.

Beware; during the 2008-2009 school year I doodled almost every day!
