Er. I whipped up a decent sketch one day of Princess Layalin of the Nunathoemlen (unicorn-land) and her lover Gyoriing, Knight of the Lilemlen (moon-land), Prince Flaer’s captain and best friend, and proceeded to butcher it in Photoshop. I drew them because I hadn’t drawn them for a long time. I still haven’t drawn them for a long time. I’d better give Gyoriing some more parts to play because since my friend Jess, who helped me start Zela’s world, and I sort of moved apart I didn’t think of Sela - that is, Layalin-who-was - much anymore, as she didn’t have a large part to play in the overall story. I think I’d better fix that. Ummmm… brainstorming on the spot: she’s hugely anti-war (I knew that) and contrary to how we played her she has the backbone to stand up and demand it stop. Unlike Kylyralessa, her little sister, who is only capable of great things when her boyfriend Prince Lyrestan is involved. And unlike Muila, her elder twin sister, who is not particularly anti-war and is in fact a great leader in the war. Ooh, spoilers! Not necessarily a warrior like Zela, though.
Uh, about the picture… I like Gyoriing’s hair, somewhat, but most of it is all wroooong. At least Layalin’s mouth isn’t awful like the first time I did it. But Gyoriing does have a somewhat stronger jaw, and Layalin’s green eyes, while luminous, aren’t large as saucers.
I just want to write out some long names/titles. Here I go!
Elyil Zela sha Yalekedma (some call it the Kallakedma)
Nieron Flaer sha Lilemlen
Nieron Flairé sha Lilemlen
Nieril Kylyralessa sha Nunathoemlen
Nieron Lyrestan sha Lilemlen
Nion Kirstril sha Kiirstemlen… or is it Aarhckemlen? I think Nu hean Nion sha Kiirstemlen.
Oops, I got caught up in reading my drafts. Layalin does have a major part to play. I just have been forgetting her in favour of Flairé.
Flairé: I’m speciallll. Whoohoo!
Y’know, when the beacons light in the movie Return of the King, they put at least three extra ones in, and I was under the impression that the beacons were on hills, not flippin’ mountains. Just sayin’. Coz I’m listening to the music of that bit.
Btw curse you, Ceniro!
Ceniro: It’s not my fault at all!
I know. I’m just complaining. I’ve done all of Chapter 7 that’s not fighting (lots of that this time) and the aftermath.
FIVE WORKING DAYS and then I only work Saturdays at the bakery! Yaaaaaay! Four more sunrises and then I get to visit with people whom I haven’t seen all summer! Even more yay! And I picked a history course, though I’m not signed up for it yet. I want to check with the music office first. My school week is quite sparse. Just Latin, history, chorus, choir, piano lessons, church, and work. Must practice lots of piano! Must… practice… zzzzzzz
