This is based on a really strange dream I had once. There was an old man with long hair, but he turned into a very beautiful young man still with silver-white hair, and I followed him up some moonlit stairs. So when I woke up, I thought: “He would make a fantastic boyfriend for Flaria!” So I drew him and her together at the top of the same stairs.
Hey! It’s a kiss that isn’t quite as lame as any of the others!
Can’t… break… addiction… to… writing. It’s so annoying! I’ve already told you how I’ve been writing… read through, write a paragraph… read through, write a paragraph… I realized one problem with Chapter 7. I had been trying to give one character the pwnage spotlight, but it wasn’t working. Then I realized I was being too heavy-handed with the ‘show, don’t tell’. So I deleted a bunch of stuff because the battle was dragging on a bit long anyway, and it might be better now. I can’t tell yet. The battle is still way too long, but I don’t think I can edit any more and it will just have to carry over into the next chapter which doesn’t have a huge plot content in it anyway. If I wrote it the way that I outlined it, it would be dramatic, but short. Which is not necessarily a bad thing! The drama would more than make up for the short. I just want to talk about this all day. I can’t wait to finish it and put it up for you people to read or whatever you do with these things. I really want to write more stories about Ceniro. Maybe I’ll write one about his life up until Lyn’s story-ish. But later. After I finish this one and Ephraim and then Eliwood and Hector. I’m going to restart from the beginning of Eliwood’s story (I have four chapters already written, but it’s all really old material and not up to my present standard, however high that is – I really can’t tell) and try and do a goooood job, even if that will be half-scripted. I’m going to rub in the typo in the game, too. Y’know when you recruit Jaffar around Chapter 26? Hector rants for a bit, and then stops and says “Ok. I’ve said my peace.” It’s “piece”!! Argh! There are two more typos. One is in the paladin unit description (“Knights who have dedicated their live to justice” or something like that) and I don’t remember the other one but I’m fairly sure I would notice it instantly if I found it again.
Canada’s Worst Driver 2: on TV, and painful. Looking for when Star Wars Clones comes back. Oct 2. Darn you, Rex. Now Rex has distracted me from Ceniro who is distracting me from piano. Piiiiiickles.
Also watched Casablanca with my brother last night. Slightly confusin’, but very well done. Great acting.
Life is frustrating, live long and prosper, I’ll be back tomorrow.
