Hey, a movie! For all that ‘movies’ is in Elfinessé’s subtitle, it’s been a long time for the first one to get here… Anyway, this is my first video of Ceniro, made with Windows Movie Maker and Photoshop. Credit goes to Fire Emblem Planet for a couple of things and The Spriters Resource for others. I drew Ceniro and arranged the different images in Photoshop… the background, the nameplates, the HPs and percentages… it took a long time. And then came the creating of dozens of PNGs. The next movie is up to over 400 PNGs and is not even close to being finished! It would help if I worked on it once in a while… next summer, maybe! Anyway, putting in WMM wasn’t too hard. It’s just the animation takes forever. I have to make some major changes to the sprite… it doesn’t look right at all. I’m not sure how I’m going to do it, but I’ll figure it out eventually. Oh, and the sound was recorded straight from the GBA using the microphone plugged into the computer. Right from the FE7 Sound Room. It stutters at the end because I wasn’t sure how to use the microphone so it didn’t make the sound file all in one go.
Was going to say other stuff, but I’m going to go practice now. I did buy a bunch of books at the university, though, which look very interesting. Huzzah!

It’s Tuor! Remember how long I was remarking on him over the past year or whatever? Well, here’s the finished result. Tuor is a conversion of a Swordmaster body with Phoenix Guard head, and foil cloak. If I had thought about it a bit more, I would have probably gone with a plain old Phoenix Guard. But Tuor still looks pretty good, and the foil cloak is thinner and perhaps more real except where I messed up on it. Like that wierd jig on the left shoulder. I shined the axe with sandpaper, as usual with my metal minis. Deciding what to freehand (he is a showpiece, after all!) was difficult, but I’m happy with it… the inside of the cloak (so much agony!) and the triangular leather things on his hips and the shading on the helmet swan wings.
Ooowheee, it’s my Sculpey people! I bought a Warhammer daemonette, made a sculpey mold of her, cast a sculpey daemonette, cut off all the extra evil daemonette detail, and had a plain female figure to remold and recast as many times as I liked. Sort of. It didn’t work. I ended up with long skinny blobs that were vaguely humanoid shaped… I’m actually quite surprised they turned out so well. Rana’s shield was painted. Marth is going to have a sword, but I don’t have one that looks like Falchion yet and I didn’t feel like converting it at the time… I still don’t, really. Maybe I’ll get around to it someday. Rana and Corinth’s swords are extra Warhammer Silver Helm swords I had in my bitz box.
Prince Reyson of Fire Emblem 9 Trail of Blue Flames! Not as good as the last picture, but decent I guess. I ran out of page so that’s why his left wing is cut off. It feels kind of flat to me… not enough shading. One thing I’m happy about is the use of the white of the page to get his tunic white enough. 
Yay, it’s Link! I drew the picture in pencil, and I was afraid of ruining it, so I scanned it before colouring, though it was very very light so I had to super-up the contrast so it looks like this (down there). Anyway, the picture did not get ruined, and I’m actually very pleased with the shading I did.
and tomorrow, and then minis for two days, and then Ceniro the day after. Then I’m taking a break for the end of summer.
