Hey, a movie! This is my first video of Ceniro, made with Windows Movie Maker and Photoshop. Credit goes to Fire Emblem Planet for a couple of things and The Spriters Resource for others. I drew Ceniro and arranged the different images in Photoshop… the background, the nameplates, the HPs and percentages… it took a long time. And then came the creating of dozens of PNGs. The next movie is up to over 400 PNGs and is not even close to being finished! It would help if I worked on it once in a while… next summer, maybe! Anyway, putting in WMM wasn’t too hard. It’s just the animation takes forever. I have to make some major changes to the sprite… it doesn’t look right at all. I’m not sure how I’m going to do it, but I’ll figure it out eventually. Oh, and the sound was recorded straight from the GBA using the microphone plugged into the computer. Right from the FE7 Sound Room. It stutters at the end because I wasn’t sure how to use the microphone so it didn’t make the sound file all in one go.

Prince Tuor of Gondolin
Sculpey Figures: Marth, Rana, Corinth

Marth
Reyson in marker

“Hmph,” said the heron.
Prince Reyson of Fire Emblem 9 Trail of Blue Flames! Not as good as the last picture, but decent I guess. I ran out of page so that’s why his left wing is cut off. It feels kind of flat to me… not enough shading. One thing I’m happy about is the use of the white of the page to get his tunic white enough.
Link Laughing

Shiny hair? Wow
Yay, it’s Link! I drew the picture in pencil, and I was afraid of ruining it, so I scanned it before colouring. Anyway, the picture did not get ruined, and I’m actually very pleased with the shading I did.
Zela Bladedancer in colour

Glitter, glitter, little sword
And now Zela in colour. Original here. The colour really brings out the proportional deficiencies, I think, but I also think the cloth at her waist looks really good for some reason. I had some trouble with layers and the multiply function… that’s why there are some white lines and some dark lines, instead of it all being just smooth. I guess I like the shiny sword a lot, though the hilt ought to be more detailed… I guess there’s only so much you can cram into those pixels. Also the hair is okay.
There’s so much I want to do right now! Photoshop painting, Ceniro movie, write Fire Emblem 7… I re-read as much of my story as is on here last night and I felt… I have up to Chapter 10 or so written, so why not put it up? Because it needs work, that’s why. Well, I’m going to work on Photoshop, I think.
Anne in colour

Doo doo de doo… swish swish… flap flap…
Ah, Anne. In colour! Original here. Ah, I did a sloppy job on the wings… but I still don’t know how to draw them. Anyway, I just tidied up a few details before posting it today, like the ear and the wing texture. As you can see I went crazy with the multiply function in Photoshop, though it is a tiny bit annoying that when you merge layers they either both become multiply or they both become normal… Didn’t really bother me here, though. And the bucket seems to have survived! Anyway, y’know, I think I actually prefer the pencil version – colour accentuates my mistakes/inaccuracies.
…Elf Montage

Waaaah… too many people! Elves from all over! …and me.
One… last attempt to do Esgalwen, and it failed worse than ever. Then I drew the figures on the left, inspired by the song the lady sings in the bar on Outo World in Tsubasa… I still can’t remember her name anymore. Anyway, the bit where she stops and the girls’ choir starts is the bit that inspired me to imagine Flairé swinging me around in the air. Except I forgot my glasses again and he’s about a foot too tall. Then… I think I drew the one of Flairé with a little rock whizzing past his face (thrown by me ^_^7) and his shirt says “I LIKE PICKLES”. Squee! I think I drew Link next, and then Rana, and she turned out better than he did, and then I finished off with Legolas, who didn’t turn out too well, and Zela, looking especially grumpy.
Flairé

As I am pleased to meet you.
Flairéeeee!! A full length portrait and a little one of him bowing. I don’t know if I noticed this before, but his cloak is really nice in the first one. I mean, for my skill level. He’s got his shield and quiver on his back – he’s fully outfitted, except for food… and a knife would come in handy… and stuff… Second picture has good upper body positioning but everything else is pretty sloppy. Oh well, it wasn’t meant to be as good as the first one anyway.
Esgalwen

Um, yes?
Once again, Esgalwen’s head is too big. The little dancing Esgalwen at the bottom is hopeless. Meh!
