Oh, wow. I posted four pictures in one day. Wow.
This is Audriel Sillendrey, from the webcomic The Prime of Ambition
. I sent it in for the birthday contest last year! It didn’t win - the winning entry was just too amazing ^_^7 - but I’m happy with the way this turned out. Very happy. My noses still need work, but it’s fairly shiny for my artwork.
I’m playing in Stuart the Tuba Player’s concert tonight. We’re doing the first two movements of the Hindemith Tuba Sonata. >_<7 Hindemith is crazy.
I got to picture 400? Wow.
Also I finished fixing all the links! WOW!

Bishounen - now with extra angst!

Um, this is the angsty bishounen hero of Last Exile, the anime series that my friend Lesley showed me (Lesley, not Leslie).
The picture is not great, but it’s a sketch.

I adore X-wings, as has been said, so I tried to draw the best pilot of them all: Wedge Antilles… but it didn’t come out because I didn’t use a reference.
Whatever. It’s generic X-wing pilot #1. ^_^7

Teh Mystic Snowboarder

I’m not sure how this character came to be, but one day my brother started chanting “mystic snowboarder! Mystic snowboarder!” and it piqued my interest enough to draw it. So, yeah, a Dungeons and Dragons snowboarder wizard with a magic ski-pole staff.
I have never skiied or snowboarded.
The thing around his neck is an Egyptian ankh.
The concert was incredible!!! It was fantastic! It was amazing! There were some school bands there and one girl sitting right behind me wouldn’t stop kicking my chair, so second half I sat with Alex and it was a lot quieter, despite the large numbers of people in the audience in the last stages of consumption… Anyway, at intermission I made him laugh until he begged for mercy somehow… ^_^7 Sort of.
Michael disappeared again. Why does he keep doing that? It’s a bit annoying when I’m trying to tell him how much I enjoyed the concert.

Come to think of it, that boot might actually belong to an actual body... which is bigger than I thought...!!?!
Fingolfin vs. Morgoth’s Boot

I love this picture! Oh, wow, a Middle Earth picture! It’s of Fingolfin (again) and he is fighting Morgoth, and this is the best picture of Morgoth I’ve ever done, either. But Fingolfin! The tragic eyes, the flowing shiny hair… The angle of the sword and shield, the strange ripples of the cloak (?)… His arm’s a bit skinny… But otherwise he looks pretty realistic!
Why, yes, this is the King of the Noldor take 3! And, yes, he is an angsty heroic idiot, and thus we all love him.
Gonna see the Firebird tonight, and the Tchaik6. Sorry, Braden. It was a tough choice.

Hum, the eyes are nice, but the chins are too angular. Even for me. I guess these pictures are improving, but TP Link is not good enough here yet… I have done better pictures, I guess I’m saying. However, I’m rather happier with the way Demon (a.k.a. OniLink) came out. Yes, I am. Except that noses done by me are at the wrong angle or something.
AlexJ came over randomly today. Cedric and he and I were all talking, and then we went to get muffins and kept talking, and then Cedric went to Fridaymusic and Alex and I went to the bus stop and kept talking, and then I got off at my stop and he came too, so we kept talking. …Odd, that. Anyway, he loves the word ‘elucidate’. This I know now. ^_^7 But, “just, like ‘oh my dog’,” it was funny.
Also, ‘oh my dog’, I updated today. What is this, spare-time week? I should be composing.

More marker! Flairé finds this a typical position, I think. That’s actually a pretty small drum, really… Ooh, and he has his whistle-flute!
Hmm, not much to say today, except that I might have a new summer project. I’m not giving away much now, but suffice to say that I find it funny. Oh, and it has robotic frogs.

Um, this is me, with a nice haircut, very upset. And I forgot my glasses. I only just realized that, after more than a year. O_O7 Odd. This is one of my mom’s favourite pictures, because of the shading. This is the work of my then-new super art markers! I used every single one in shading my irises.
I updated on a weekday? What? Well, I turned in my history essay, and I’m not worried about composition yet, and theory and musicianship are easy, and I finished my piano (gasp) so I had nothing better to do!

Mwahahaha, this is the next result of my ‘how to draw manga’ book. See how Link’s body looks slightly more realistic than usual? The King of Ikana - the bone guy dude - is also more detailed than a bunch of my villains… though I redesigned him because I couldn’t remember what he looks like. I started adding the wall, but it rather ruined the rest of the picture so I stopped.
I went out for dinner at Millo’s last night, and it was fantastically fun! Hugs for everyone! Nathan couldn’t make it because he had rehearsals and stuff, but maybe we can do that again around exams - celebrate the end of History, for example, because everyone but Thor is in History. But we have to have Thor, too. He’s nice, and makes me smile.
Claire and Alex - sorry, I mean Marvin and Trixie - are going to start a comedy duo. Yay. They have me laughing to tears already.
And Claire gave me pretty yellow flowers, and Alex gave me a card with sheep, and Leslie gave me a big hug! I have the bestest friends!
It occurs to me that I forgot to put up two pictures that go before this. Sorry. Will do next week. Big history paper due on Tuesday, composition to write this week.
