wilflorinaiconYay! Something that turned out! If you don’t remember them these two heads are representative of my Silver Helm guys. Turmith, or at least part of him that was abandoned due to NOT turning out, is on the left. Elfin is on the right, sans armour… and what a handsome fellow he is. So earnest looking. He’s my favourite. Here’re the minis, to remind you: Turmith, Elfin.

September the 30th? Oh, right, that’s the day I found out Michael G goes to the same church as I do! We were kind of late (as usual, due to Mom ^_^7) and we sat in the back, and the time came for the exchange of ‘peace’ (handshakes) and I turned around and… Oh my goodness! There’s someone I know! I don’t remember the last time I’ve been so pleasantly surprised.

We drove him home and talked about visiting foreign countries. Mostly Israel because he’s been there.

Sorry, I gotta go. My brother’s watching Bill Nye on VHS and I want to see.

marthtitlepenciliconMy two favourite characters of Tsubasa Chronicle are Fai and Touya. Touya’s hair is completely terrible. I’m not sure what the kanji say anymore. I think ‘challenge’. The little Touya is better. And these guys would never have met in canon, so I guess I just stuck them together. Man, I like Touya’s big sword. It has no detail here, though.

Saturday the 29 I remember I was excused from cleaning the house because piano practice is more important, and Mom was doing it next week because Grandma and Grandpa were coming. And Uncle Dean. I think. I’m not sure of anything anymore… Well, they did come. That’s not what I’m unsure about.

He usually likes dodging, but it's fun to knock out multiple targets, too.

ceniropointingavatarighty. Colby Purcell once declared herself to be “a screaming fangirl for Fai!” I agree.

I’ll back up. For those of you who missed my explanation months ago, there is a lovely Japanese manga and anime called Tsubasa (‘wing’) Chronicle. In it, the Princess Sakura loses her memories, which become scattered through worlds in the form of little white feathers. She, her archeologist boyfriend Syaoran, and their new companions – the gruff ninja Kurogane, the teasing magician Fai, and the mandatory puffball, small, rabbit-like Mokona – travel the worlds to get them back. The memory feathers, that is.

So, Fai rules. I guess by this time I had watched up to the episode in which there is a temple floating in the sky with a narrow path up to it and bad guys come out of portals and attack them. Fai, forgoing his magic, does a whole bunch of really cool acrobatics fighting them off. He pretends to be lazy, but he’s really cool to watch. This picture is terrible, especially the bad guys (blobs, as usual) but it’s my first Tsubasa fanart…

And another thank you to Colby for providing the link to the YouTube video of Episode 1 and introducing me to YouTube and Tsubasa at one stroke. You can’t find it on there any more… copyright issues. I bought the DVD, as I think I said once. Not the pinnacle of excellence, but it’s Tsubasa, and that’s enough.

Um, Friday the 28th is also non-existant in my head.

shalelochfrediconSo, my fanart of my original character. That just seems wierd to me, me drawing fanart of my own thing. Fanart. But that’s what it is.

This is also a pretty good picture of Flairé, though not as good as the last one. Anatomy is still my bane, though his left hand is not too bad. I think he’s supposed to be landing. That’s why his wierd shirt is flapping all around.

I dinna remember this day, Thursday Sep 27. I think I was cheerful all day.

It’s Flairéeeeeeeeeeee! (glomp)
Flairé: (completely unfazed) Um, yeah. About time, too.
Oh, go on. Anyway, I drew this for my brother’s Dungeons and Dragons homebrewed rules, version… uh… 2, I think. Or was it 1.1? I can’t remember. Anway, I wrote out his backstory (see below) and then I drew a picture of him to go with it… and fell in love with it. Completely. Like a 13 year old fangirl. I mean, look! He’s got such beautiful hair, and his eyes are exactly Flairé, and the skirt of his tunic isn’t totally wacky, and he’s tall and slender and graceful. My mom doesn’t think much of this picture. His pose could be improved, I’ll admit – his back needs to curve more and give even more sense of movement. And I used my cheat for drawing hands. But the hair

Flairé: Now for my biography. … “Flairé is the eldest son of Prince Flaer and Lady Zela. Already unbelievably ancient, he often embarks upon long journeys all over the world, keeping his skilled technique polished and helping random people with good hearts. Always optimistic, Flairé is rather flippant for an elf and has a ready smile for every occasion. When not adventuring, he lives in the North-Western Hemisphere on a large island with mountains and forests with his parents and his only sister.” Yep, that sums me up. And you started spelling my father’s name correctly. I’d put kalma instead of ‘elf’, but I guess it’s clear the way it is.

Isn’t he lovely.
Flairé: I guess I am. I’ve developed since then, too.
Yeah, but this is the best drawing of you.
Flairé: I don’t know, you’ve done some nice ones recently, too.

The form is exactly the way my brother printed it out for use. As I recall, Kevin was a human thief, though I can’t remember very well, and Mom was a hobbit named Brunella, though I’m not sure about that either. Yes, we convinced Mom to play just one level of D&D. Holy cow.
Flairé: Moo.

Wednezday was a day that was a long time ago. Oh, yeah! I remember! The mist when I started out to the bus stop (about 8 a.m.) was incredibly lovely. It was a ‘misty, moisty morning’, and also a perfect BC morning. Just gorgeous. It disappeared by lunch, though. Mist. Beautiful. I like it.
