The cheerful one at the top is a mage, who is the son of the chief advisor of the King of Almarlia. He’s a friend of Cedric. He has Celtic pins holding his cloak up and an amulet. I like him. The one at the bottom is the King of Almarlia, Frederic. That may not be his final name, or else that may not be his final design. That’s why it says “for now”. The one on the right is Lord Shale, only very bad. His hair turned out nuts. There needs to be more of it over his forehead.
We watched Spiderman II tonight, and it’s pretty freaky. Not as freaky as 1, though. It’s a bit wierd, and my brother says he’ll have nightmares about the aborted operation, but it was still a good movie. We had fun yelling at Peter when he was being an idiot. Like, why didn’t he tell Mary-Jane that he couldn’t get to the play because his bike got run over? My favourite part was the fight on the clock. I didn’t really like the kissing at the end. Looked pretty slobbery. JJJ is still hilarious. I think I must be tired because I think I’m spelling words wrong and I can’t tell the difference.
Also I’ve found two new webcomics, one wierd and nifty, the other gorgeous and thrilling. I’m talking about Flaky Pastry, and Inverloch.
Flaky Pastry is completely bizarre. I’m not sure I really ‘like’ Zintiel, even if she does sing the Lay of Leithan in the shower, but my guess is she doesn’t care. I do like Marelle and Neighbour, though. They’re sweet.
Inverloch… too much to say. The artwork starts out better than average and goes from there. By the end, which is apparently very, very soon, it’s incredible. Plus, the story is a real story, and it’s engaging and complicated. And Varden is cool. But the story is so well done. I think maybe instead of writing Zela’s story as a book, I should do it as a webcomic. After I learn to draw.
Oddly enough, Shianna looks a lot like Rana when she’s a little girl.
