This picture was inspired by the first movement of the Red Pony Suite by Copland. I tried the backlight thing, where the light sort of wraps around the figure. It didn’t work so well, and she has terrible ears. Maybe it’s that her head is too small. And by the way, her sword hilt design is finalized; at least it was in the profile avatar sketch and I used it again here. Her hair is too long.
The Lego movie now has a 12 second test and 2 seconds of actual movie. The hero and heroine are tentatively named Sally and Jim. The villian is still unnamed.
Maybe I’ll have a chapter of some writing thing up next week. So far I’m about half way through the first chapter. And I’d like to work on my Andrew Lang style fairytale, too. And I’d like my friend over to watch Zelda. Hmm.
And, man, my brother woke me up at 8:30 this morning and I was really mad. I was having a dream wherein I met a bunch of organists from camp, and also Tristram from Earthsong was trying to make a cup of hot chocolate.
