It’s Link! That other guy is Sain, because I was going to use it to draw a gmax (3D program) model of Sain and use him to make an animated version of a Dire Straits song. He’s playing drums now. Most everybody else is still the same, but I think Eliwood took over bass guitar and Kent went over to the extra keyboards. Then to relax myself I did a cute little scribble of Link giving the victory sign.
More blabble tomorrow. Gwen and I played at a garden show today. I play solo tomorrow. We should watch Marriage of Figaro again… Kevin is intrigued by the way I described the ending: “Then everybody says “Oh, pardon us!” and the Count goes “No no no no no,” and the Countess says “Let me plead for them…” and everybody goes “Gasp! It’s the Countess!” and the Count has to launch into that lovely “Contessa, perdono”, and of course she forgives him because she loves him, and then everyone says “Now forget all that, let’s party!”" He’s seen it, he just doesn’t remember.

Ugh… the less said about this picture the better. (hint: it has a lot to do with picture 42, but don’t look now. It’s embarrassing.) >_<7 Also I am terrible at drawing stone walls, a trait I think I share with a lot of artists.
Eeek! I tried shading the same way I do it on mini guys – putting the dark on first and going up to light, and it didn’t work so well… This is my Spearmen champion for a Warhammer regiment, and the head is a Silver Helms extra with green putty hair. After I finish this sketchbook, I will put up pictures of all the minis up to the Spearelves. There are a lot of them. I’m looking forward to that. Penlod is also really cool, and he’s from Gondolin. At the Filburg Festival (Comox Valley thing in August) I took a picture of my Mom, because she was pretty. She’s wearing a pink dress with little flowers and a straw hat. I remember my friend Jessie was with me. I wanted to turn it into a watercolour for a birthday present for her, and I did a few practice paintings, but I never got the shadows dark enough. I should finish that this summer.
